Calleo is an expert provider of Scribing Services for Government clients. We hold considerable experience designing and delivering Scribing Services ranging from large complex bulk rounds (150+) to individual placements across all levels and technical competencies. To demonstrate Calleo’s capability, a recent project delivery example is provided in the case study below.

Client

Calleo was selected by the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) to deliver assessment services for the 2021 APSC Indigenous Graduate Pathway (IGP). The IGP is the Australian Federal Government cornerstone initiative to increase the number of Indigenous Graduates across the Commonwealth. Coordinated by the APSC and in partnership with many participating Commonwealth Government agencies the project required a flexible, experienced and culturally sensitive approach.

Brief

To run this program and be flexible during a national pandemic, APSC and Calleo rapidly implemented solutions for several assessment and remote interview activities to provide individual holistic assessment reports for 98 applications.

Solution

Calleo worked closely with the APSC throughout the project to gain feedback to successfully deliver assessments as required. An overall assessment file was maintained for each applicant including written, cognitive, numerological, interview, reference and affirmative measures.

Our approach

Calleo arranged a pre-engagement meeting before undertaking the recruitment activity to further understand the requirements of the project. Working with the IGP, Calleo designed and agreed on document templates / formats for each service that included assessments of written reports against criteria, qualifications, cognitive and numerical assessments, referee reports and final assessment reports. The team consisted of a Scribe Delivery Manager and five existing staff to support the IGP.

Capability

  • Written reports: assessment completed against pre-arranged Departmental criteria
  • Interviews: attend, scribe comments and panel deliberations
  • Reference checks
  • Cognitive and numerical assessments
  • Individual Assessment Reports and other administrative tasks as required

Outcome

  • Successful Panel feedback
  • Successful delivery of Quality Assured Assessment Reports within one week of interview completion
  • Development of the agreed assessment database for scoring consistency

Key stats

  • Digitally connected with agencies across Australia 98 written applications assessed and scored in 5 days
  • 98 individual reports completed and submitted, following the final interviews within 6 days
