Calleo’s Queensland Team Is Growing

31 October 2022  Stacey Fernandes

We’re delighted to announce that our Queensland team is growing. From two staff working remotely, we now welcome three new team members – Ashlee Rice, Luke Elliott and Jade Duffy.

Ashlee joins as our long-awaited General Manager. With over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Ash has been running her own IT recruitment company, Matrix IT, for the last two years. She brings a significant network in the private tech industry in QLD, and across Australia. She has also spent several years working in Canberra supporting Federal Government projects.

Luke joins Calleo after four months with Matrix as Consultant. Prior to joining Matrix, Luke worked as an electrician. As a natural people-person, Luke is driven to deliver the best outcome for his clients and candidates.

Jade joins Calleo after being with Matrix for almost 12 months. Prior to that Jade worked at Drake International. As a Resource Consultant, Jade has experience supporting Government programs. For the last 12 months, Jade has been the jack-of-all-trades for Matrix doing everything from resourcing to marketing.

As the entire Matrix team now joins Calleo, they bring their expertise and market knowledge to help grow our established relationships and build upon our proven track record of delivered work. With this increased capability, we look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional results for our clients and candidates.

Ash, Luke and Jade join our existing Queensland team members, Kate and Meagan. While Meagan is based in Bundaberg, Kate is a former Canberrian who decided to make the move to the sunshine state for family reasons. She let us know that she wanted to stay part of our team, but also wanted to be around people up there too. The driving force behind growing our Queensland team was to make sure Kate was supported. As a business, we always put our team first.

Fun fact … Kate and Meagan are sisters – and they’re not the only family connections in our company, so when we say ‘our Calleo family’, we mean it.

And with ambitious growth plans ahead, we’re always on the lookout for our next new team member. So, if you, or someone you know, are looking to join a team that values their people, rewards experience and is committed to delivering quality outcomes, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact David Bain Smith on 0404 310 001 or email david.bainsmith@calleo.com.au
