Calleo are seeking a skilled and dynamic System Cyber Security Engineer to join one of our federal clients. System Cyber Security Engineer implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
The applicant will be responsible for the analysis and development of the recommendations to improve cyber security resilience of Operational Technology (OT) environments and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and recommending enhancements to the security posture of OT systems.
- Providing guidance for OT cyber security across various industrial sectors.
- Performing industrial risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
- Reviewing documentation related to control system cyber security.
- Assessing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other cyber security specialists to recommend improvements to client’s overall cyber security resilience.
Technical skills
- Designing and implementing security measures for OT environments.
- Understanding and managing risks related to industrial controls and OT.
- Applying relevant cyber security framework to OT environments.
- Identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities specific to OT environments.
Essential criteria
- Demonstrated expertise in OT security.
- Experience in industrial risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities specific to industrial environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineering and IT teams.
- Experience in applying cyber security standards and frameworks within and industrial context.
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrated expertise in OT Security within Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
- Knowledge or background in electrical engineering or control system engineering.
- Experience with threat modelling, assurance principles, and security assessment frameworks.
- Relevant certifications, such as GICSP/GRID/SANS ICS 612, ISA/IEC 62443 etc.
