Human Resources Advisor
- Non-ongoing, 8 month contract
- Part time – 15-20 hours per week
- $90K - $110K plus superannuation pro rata
About the role
Our client is seeking a part time Human Resources Advisor for an 8-month cover opportunity ideally commencing mid-January 2025.
The Human Resources Advisor is a true business partner who works to ensure that the HR function is a proactive, value-adding service and meets the needs of its stakeholders across the organisation. In this role, you will be involved in the delivery of the following services as required by the business areas:
- Supporting business areas to attract and select the best people for the right roles
- Support in the rollout of the HR policies and procedures
- Supporting and advising people on all areas of performance management
- Support with workplace investigations
- Workers’ compensation case management and support
Skills & Experience
- Two – five years’ experience in Generalist Human Resource’s role
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology or related discipline is preferred but not essential
- Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, and it’s application in the workplace across the entire employee life cycle
- Ability to deal with sensitive, difficult issues with empathy and discretion and balance the needs of the individual and organisation
- The ability to work within tight deadlines
- Well-developed problem-solving ability and able to make sound, evidence-based decisions
- High level of organisational skills
