Calleo is looking for a Cloud EntraID Engineer for the delivery of governance and compliance solutions across the cloud landscape to support the department’s resilience goals and objectives for PROTECTED capabilities while also considering dependency and dependent systems and services. Candidate will be required to work with the department’s customers to design cost effective, secure and resilient cloud-based PROTECTED solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and optimising large scale Azure environments, ideal candidate would possess Azure infrastructure expertise, virtual machines, networking, storage and identity and access management including RBAC.
- Automation and scripting, PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation of tasks, managing resources and executing deployment scripts.
- ARM/BICEP templates, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated resource deployment.
- Azure DevOps for implementing CI/CD pipelines for automating infrastructure management.
- Security and governance, Azure security best practices, implement security measures like Azure security centre, network security groups/perimeters and firewalls.
- Identity and access management, ensuring the correct management of user permissions and access policies.
- Policy and blueprints, enforcing governance and compliance across the Azure environment.
- Configuring DNS setting and management for resources.
- Monitoring and optimisation through Azure monitoring and log analytics for monitoring performance, diagnosing issues and analysing logs.
- Cost management, monitoring and optimising spending to ensure cost efficiency.
- Performance tuning, optimising services and infrastructure for maximising performance and scalability.
- Soft skills in collaboration work with cross-functional teams such as developers, security and business stakeholders.
- Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and documenting best practices.
Technical Skills Required
- Extensive experience in user, group and application lifecycle management and proficient in implementing conditional access policies with understanding of identity governance
- Advanced understanding of multifactor authentication methods and previous experience in implementing role-based access control
- Proficient with configuring and managing external identities, B2B technology
- Experience with identity protection policies and privileged identity management, including security access controls across on-premises and cloud environments
- Deep understanding of OAuth, OpenID, SAML and federation concepts
- Experience with EntraID connect and directory synchronization
- Advanced EntraID troubleshooting and problem management skills
