Case Manager
Our client works towords ensuring all Australians have access to high quality health services through the development of evidence-based policies and programs that deliver a sustainable, highly trained and well-distributed workforce.
They aim to:
- Ensure Australia’s health workforce is well distributed through incentives, regulation and targeted training.
- Fill gaps in the distribution of the workforce, supporting access to health services for rural Australians through outreach services.
- Improve the quality of the health workforce through training programs, policy settings and support for national regulatory arrangements.
Key Duties:
- Exercise judgement to make recommendations informed by the application of policies, best practice principles and procedures.
- Prepare advice through briefs, correspondence, reports and other required documents.
- Contribute to the setting of work priorities and practices, monitoring workflow and identifying areas for improvement.
- Program implementation or case management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to apply good judgement and subject matter knowledge to make policy and program decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for own work and contribute to team outcomes.
- Organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
