Seeking a talented and motivated UX research and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to assist a Federal Government client with the development, design  and review of a critical initiative. 

Focus on understanding and engaging various main end users, these include, but not limited to state and federal emergency managers, critical infrastructure owners and the public as their views will be highly regarded in the project’s development.

Work remotely and engage with stakeholders Australia wide.

 
Essential criteria

• Extensive research methods and tools. These may include contextual qualitative observation, interviews, desktop research, creating user journey maps, examining existing user interface, facilitating usability. Familiarity with geospatial tools and concepts.
• Expert skills in synthesis and analysis to uncover clear and actionable insights and recommendations. Skills in clearly articulating research findings using a variety of visual aids like presentations, journey maps and videos.
• Proven ability to build empathy with users and gain a deep understanding of user needs. Evidence of planning, designing, conducting, analysing and leading user research activities in a digital context
• Demonstrated ability to deliver the work within the required timeframe.

Though not directly a technical role, candidates with skills and experience with JavaScript, AWS lambda as well as Angular and GIS tools are highly regarded.
