Senior ICT Contract Manager/Specialist

  • Contract to June 2023 with 12-month extension option
  • Australian Citizenship required – Security Clearance highly regarded
  • Onsite in Canberra

About the role

Our client is looking for multiple Senior ICT Contract Managers/Specialists.

You will be working on contract management in accordance with procurement legislation, governing frameworks and bodies. As a contract professional, you will prepare, interpret, maintain, review and negotiate variations to contracts on behalf of an organisation.
  
As the Senior Contract Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality delivery and improvement of a range of contract management activities. You may lead teams that provide self-service support and advice or that provide the services on behalf of the team or client.
  
The successful candidate will have a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the consistent delivery of contract management services.
  
The Senior Contract Manager will exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on their high-level judgement and consideration of wider agency implications, with work being performed under the general guidance of senior staff. In performing a leadership role, you will drive innovation, changes in workplace practices and organises work in the context of competing priorities and strategic direction.
  
Note: You MUST be an Australian Citizen to be considered for these requirements. Holding a current Security Clearance is highly regarded.
  
Skills and experience

  • Solid experience in procurement and contract management
  • Complex ICT procurement and contract management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve programmes outcomes
  • Ability to research, analyse and apply problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to meet client’s requirements
  • Ability to provide skills/knowledge transfer to appropriate levels of the APS work force within the team environment
