Senior Clinical Research Management Officer

Our client, a highly regarded federal government department, are seeking a suitable Senior Clinical Research Management Officer to deliver high quality advice and professional services with limited guidance to Open Arms in the areas of clinical research studies, trials, and projects, program pilots, and evaluation, and contribute to research translation and knowledge transfer into policy and practice. Working in accordance with the principles of workplace diversity, WHS practices and the APS values and principles, this role works collaboratively with the Regional Community Engagement Team to engage with internal and external stakeholders to influence high level of service for clients accessing the program and services.

Duties:

  • Deliver best practice clinical service delivery, exercising sound professional judgement under limited supervision.
  • drafting business documentation, supporting consolidation of strategic priorities, and working with the national Clinical Innovations Section teams to meet business improvement priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form relationships quickly
  • Provide supervision, mentoring and coaching for direct reports to effectively manage performance and encourage professional growth.

  
There are no mandatory clinical qualifications required. Qualifications, skills and experience in mental health, psychology, social sciences, humanities or a related field, research and evaluation, change management, program and project management, procurement including contract management are highly regarded.
  
Candidates should be aware that they will require a National Police Certificate and WWVP before commencing the role.
