Project Support Officer

The IT Division within our Federal Government client are looking to engage with a Project Support Officer to provide critical operational and administrative support to the department through the delivery of high-quality customer service. The department had adopted an Agile work environment and the successful candidate will have experience working in this environment or willing to adapt to the working style.

Duties:

  • Deliver high levels of customer service and be the first point of contact for the division and be responsible for directing queries and matters of importance.
  • Assist in the development of procedures, processes and system which improve departmental timelines and output of workflow and governance. The division also supports the PMO with the development of agendas and ensuring governance and compliance is adhered and maintained.
  • Provide secretariat support including but not limited to: meeting arrangements, documents and information, governance arrangements.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment managing many competing priorities with a focus on achieving results.

The successful candidate will be available to work for the contract period, with the ability to obtain / maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
