Executive Assistant

In this role, you will play a pivotal role with one of Australia’s Federal Government Agency based in Canberra. In this role, you will be required to perform and achieve moderately complex high-level administrative support work.

The successful candidate will be accountable for organising their workflow, making decisions within their defined parameters relating to area of responsibility and will seek guidance when required and must clearly understand the goals, values and needs of both the programs and the Senior Executive Team.
  
Duties:

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including arranging travel and/or booking interviews for candidates
  • Manage the diary and administration support for a Branch Head
  • Coordinate Question Time Brief’s, Questions On Notice, Senate Estimates briefs and other documentation for the Branch
  • Maintain and adjust records on the electronic document management systems
  • Utilise the information available to prepare briefing packs, reports and papers for senior departmental committees.

  
The successful candidate will be available to work for the contract period, with the ability to obtain / maintain a National Criminal History Check
