Employee Relations Specialist

In this role, the Employee Relations Specialist will provide specialist advice to stakeholders, supporting the branch and wider leadership team in delivering results and outcomes relating to employment legislation and policy. You will also be required to work independently and must possess sound decision-making and judgement skills to be successful in this position.
Duties and Responsibilities       

  • Using previous experience and knowledge in employee relations to provide expert advice on a range of topics
  • Draft, review and implement employment policy, procedures and guidelines
  • Manage the Department’s Enterprise Agreement including the implementation of an S24 determination to regulate salaries and allowances
  • Manage stakeholders of various level both internal and external including employees, managers and senior executive staff members
