Clinical Operations – Assistant Director

Our client, a highly regarded federal government department, are seeking a suitable Assistant Director to support and optimise client wellbeing. Working in accordance with the principles of workplace diversity, WHS practices and the APS values and principles, this role works collaboratively with the Regional Community Engagement Team to engage with internal and external stakeholders to influence high level of service for clients accessing the program and services.
  
Duties:

  • Oversee all clinical quality assurance activity which may include file audits, centre-based case reviews, outreach counselling case reviews and quality assurance reviews for both centre-based and outreach counselling services
  • Facilitate a professional development program for the regional clinical staff based on the needs of the programs business priorities and in accordance with identified professional development requirements
  • Ensure all individual clinical staff are meeting their workload requirements and are maintaining active professional development and regular professional supervision; and

Mandatory Requirements

  • Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
  • Qualification as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW) and be eligible to apply for Mental Health accreditation.

  
The successful candidate will be available to work for the contract period, with the ability to obtain / maintain a Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance
