Change Manager

Background
This well known Federal Government agency is at a critical stage in the delivery of a complex Digital Transformation program and requires an experienced Change Manager to lead various change activities associated with the program.

The Role
In this role, you will take on a pivotal role leading both internal and external-facing change activities for the Transformation program, including stakeholder engagement, program communications and adoption activities.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, communicating and implementing an end-to end change management plan to maximise adoption, on boarding and build awareness of Program benefits and deliverables
  • Working with Executives, Business Managers, Product Owners and customers to understand change for users and the broader organisation
  • Actively collaborating with Business Partners, the wider project team and key internal and external stakeholders to achieve success
  • Ensuring the changes are understood, sustained and embedded across the product life cycle

Working Arrangements:
This is a contract role, with an initial 12 month contract term and 1x 12 month extension option.

The organisation has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra and this role is able to be based out of any of the three offices, depending on your preference.

The organisation works on a hybrid-working model, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office required.

Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience as a Change Manager working on Digital Transformation activities. In a perfect world, this would include working in a Federal Government (or public sector) setting, however this is not essential
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Change Management qualifications or certifications (e.g. Prosci)

Security Clearance

Finally, due to Federal Government security requirements, candidates must hold a active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance to be eligible for this opportunity.
