BI Data Modellers

This large government client are undergoing a seismic transformation program and as part of this journey they have multiple opportunities for experienced Data Modellers.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Data Modeller who will be responsible for the development of the conceptual and logical data models to support the business requirements. Applying your knowledge of business intelligence solutions and data warehouse
development you will define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices and related development for enterprise data models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices and related development for enterprise data models
  • Data analysis, data profiling, data mapping documentation, design and querying languages including SQL or similar
  • Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks
  • Develop and enhance data models with adherence to ACDW data architecture principles and data modelling templates, methods, and standards.
  • Data Models, Release Documents and DDL SQL Scripts delivery

Key Skills Required:

  • Significant experience as a BI Data Modeller, specialising in dimensional data modelling (Kimball methodology)
  • Strong understanding of traditional/modern BI/DW, ETL and metadata concepts
  • Demonstrated experience in using data modelling and metadata management tools such as ER Studio, Sparx EA, Erwin, or similar
  • Significant experience in structured analysis and design
  • Baseline Security clearance preferred so applicants will need to be an Australian Citizen
