AWS Cloud / DevOps Specialist

Role Summary:

This fast-growing Professional Services / Fin-Tech Consultancy requires a AWS Cloud / DevOps Specialist to join a newly established in-house Product team, delivering the company’s proprietary Identification and Authentication solution for a growing client list.

Initially, you will be working on an implementation into a newly-signed client in the public sector, however with strong demand for the product across both public and private sector, you will have the opportunity to work on implementations across multiple clients and industries.

The solution, an Identification and Authentication product, is built on Java and Node.JS technology, and hosted on AWS Cloud.

While this is a new team, the organisation has other pre-existing Product teams delivering the solution, which means there is a strong foundation of processes and templates for you to follow. Of course, there will still be unique challenges with each client that will require you to demonstrate strong problem solving skills and an in-depth understanding of the AWS Cloud / DevOps environment.

The organisation also offers a substantial annual Professional Development allowance, giving you the opportunity to keep your skills at the leading edge of the industry.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical understanding of AWS Cloud environments
  • At least 2 years’ of DevOps experience
  • Working experience with Java and Node.JS would be advantageous

While the organisation is headquartered in Melbourne, this role is able to be performed completely remotely (within Australia). Candidates must hold full working rights within Australia to be considered.
