APS5 Procurement and Administration Officer

This position sits in the Technology Services Division, who require a self-starter to work under broad direction, supporting the team with procurement and administration duties.

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

  • Prepare, coordinate and support end to end procurement activities including mailbox and administrating procurement related websites and portals
  • Assist with procurement risk assessments, implementation and effective management control
  • Undertaking regular and ad hoc reports, including procurement briefings, correspondence and probity management
  • Coordinate document reviews and managing procurement approvals.

To be successful we are seeking candidates with the below demonstrated experience: 

  • Recent and relevant experience in procurement / contract management / project administration, bringing an understanding of drafting procurement and contract documentation
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues and absorb information quickly
  • Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments with competing priorities, holding a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team and contribute to a cohesive work environment.

Applicants who hold a formal qualification i.e. Certificate IV in Procurement will be highly regarded.

A Baseline Security Clearance as well as a National Police Check will be undertaken before commencement.
