About the role
  
The Communications Officer is responsible for the delivery of communications and outreach activities which would include: 

• Industry communication, information, and engagement to ensure voluntary participation and compliance.
• Strategic management of activities to achieve objectives by uplifting the content, tools, and communication channels to support industry participation and compliance. The role would also be the lead on developing communications for the implementation of new or revised product determinations. 
• Development and maintenance of internal and external stakeholder relationships, including with key industry bodies and the regulated community (suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and trades). This will include participation and delivery at trade and industry shows and through appropriate industry channels.
• Communications support for the Compliance Team (i.e., retailer and industry training packages and support information).

Skills

• experience in GovCMS or similar platform (i.e., Drupal) for content publishing
• experience in content and channel management
• ability to interpret legal and technical documents
• ability to manage procurement or projects
