We are looking for an Agile Tester to join a Product Team and to have an active role in shaping the agile test methodology and testing direction. You will be working with a team of developers and designers to test a primary client facing tools

Reporting to the Senior Agile Tester, as a tester in an Agile team should be competent in test automation, test-driven development, acceptance test-driven development, white-box, black-box, risk-based and experience-based testing.
  
A key part of this role will be working with the rest of the delivery team to ensure overall quality of the product. You will oversee the execution of tests, whilst also providing advice and guidance to any test support team, as required. You will collate and manage the overall test strategy. In your role you will be assisting with test scenario design and test script execution whilst structuring tests in accordance with the Agile Test Pyramid. You will establish, use, and monitor test automation. You will produce test progress reports based on input from yourself, test team members, whilst also engaging business / end users during the production of test scenarios and scripts. As an agile tester your experience will be needed to update (or manage the update) of UAT scenarios and scripts as well as formally briefing business / end users on the UAT objectives, processes, roles, and responsibilities.
  
This role requires someone who can work positively with all stakeholders, meet deadlines, and manage schedules. You will be the primary tester in the team but at times will be required to manage a team of testers in peak periods.

You Will:

• Support the definition of the overall test strategy, including automation approach, exploratory, UI, integration, and acceptance testing
• Apply agile test methodologies to ensure we deliver a quality product
• Understand the user stories and work with the team to define the acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
• Participating in the detailed risk analysis of user stories
• Design and execute test cases / scripts and log defects in Jira as necessary
• Take a risk approach to testing priorities, identify risks and mitigate these wherever possible
• Work with the product owner and collaborate with the development team to actively acquire information from stakeholders (rather than relying entirely on written specifications)

The Must Haves:

• 3+ years of experience designing and executing testing, software testing, agile test methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in agile software development, principles, and values
• Demonstrated experience in managing people and/or leading a team.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement.
• Web automation experience in Selenium or Cypress framework preferred.
• Experience in Continuous Integration / Azure DevOps implementation preferred.
• Familiarity with programming script languages including JavaScript, Groovy, Python and VBScript.
